Professor Lisa Jardine to speak at UCL Historians event

The first UCL Historians seminar of the year will take place on 28th November at 5.30pm in the Haldane Room. Lisa Jardine, UCL’s newly-appointed Professor of Renaissance Studies will give a paper entitled “1688 and all that: revisiting Christiaan Huygens’ 1689 trip to London”. This promises to be a very stimulating event, as well as an opportunity to welcome Professor Jardine to UCL and to meet fellow historians working in other UCL departments.
